Dog Walks Himself To Vet Clinic To Ask People There For Help

The other day, veterinarian Igor Holanda was working at his clinic in Brazil when an unexpected visitor strolled inside. It was a dog, all by himself.

“He walked in very calmly and stopped,” Holanda told The Dodo. “At first we didn't understand. We looked around to see if he had someone with him, but there was no one.”

But the dog wasn’t lost. Turns out, he was a stray who had a cut on his neck. And he’d found just the people to assist him.

2 Boy Scouts Rescue Drowning Woman From Missouri Floodwaters

Joseph Diener, 16, and Dominic Viet, 15, were exploring their hometown of Columbia, Missouri, on Friday to survey the damage after a massive rainfall flooded parts of the city.

The two said they had the woman grab onto their shoulders because her legs were cramping and they were able to doggy-paddle back to the shore.

“There were some currents trying to pull us down too, because — I don't know —it's not normal water,” Dominic said.

Inventor Creates A Machine That Turns Any Alcoholic Drink Into Soft Scoop ‘ice Cream’

An inventor has developed a machine that turns beers and other alcoholic drinks into a soft scoop ‘ice cream’ that maintains its potency.

The ‘Below Zero’ machine takes any alcoholic beverage and crystallizes it in under 30 minutes for a treat that can, if you’d like, be covered in sprinkles and chocolate sauce.

Developed with WDS Dessert Stations in Hinkley, Illinois, the drink is first de-gassed to remove the carbon dioxide, then it is mixed with a gel, put in the machine, and out comes the ice cream.

Teacher Builds And Drives Portable Stage For 72 Students’ Graduation

The COVID pandemic has restricted the lives of many, including high school students who may never have the chance to experience their once-in-a-lifetime graduation.

But thanks to a thoughtful teacher, 72 students in Canada were able to savor a graduation ceremony despite the pandemic, and it was even kind of special and unique.

Ray Gowlett is a health and physical education teacher at Central Algoma Secondary School (CASS) in Desbarats, Ontario — located near Michigan’s Upper Peninsula. He and his daughter, Saddie, who was part of the 2021 graduating class, were talking when she asked him if he could hand her and her friend their diplomas at an outdoor public stage.
