How To Get the Most Out of Your Lip Serum

Did you know that our Lip Serum was one of the first natural lip serums to launch on the market? At that time, a lip serum was pretty much unheard of, and with our unique applicator and formula, it quickly became both a hero product as well as one of our bestsellers.

Fast forward to today, and while there are more brands who have launched lip serums, there’s still nothing quite like the Henné Lip Serum.

With highly potent Nordic ingredients like arctic cloudberry oil and lingonberry oil that firm and smoothen lip lines and that captivating 24K gold plated rollerball, the Lip Serum is (quite literally) the gold standard of lip serums.

Whether you already have the Lip Serum in your lip care arsenal or it’s currently on your shopping list, we want to make sure you get the most out of this bottle of anti-aging goodness.

Read below for the answers to common questions as well as pro tips for how to get the absolute best results from the Lip Serum.

Can I just use the serum instead of a lip balm?
The Lip Serum is meant to smoothen the lips and help boost collagen production and is not a replacement for a lip balm. If you have dry lips, you should apply lip balm after the serum has fully absorbed into the lips.

How often should I use the Lip Serum?
We recommend using the Lip Serum twice per day, once in the morning and once in the evening.

How much should I put on each time?
You should apply 2-3 layers of the serum onto your lips. General rule of thumb is that if your lips are still soaked after 5 minutes, then you put on too much.

What does it smell like?
The Lip Serum has a light berry scent.

How long will one bottle last me?
The content of one bottle is meant to last 3-6 months, depending on how often it's used.

Pro tip: For maximum results, use one of our lip exfoliators beforehand to ensure that lips are flake-free so the serum can fully absorb into your lips.
