WOMAN GIVES BIRTH TO TWIN SISTER'S BABY SHE CARRIED AFTER SISTER BATTLED CANCER

When Cathey Stoner gave birth to a baby boy last month, it was a miracle years in the making.

Stoner delivered the child after serving as a surrogate for her twin sister, Sarah Sharp, who could not carry a pregnancy after being diagnosed with choriocarcinoma, a rare and fast-growing cancer that occurs in a woman's uterus.

One day at the end of July, Emma Thompson was sitting in her office working on something, the kitchen door open to let in some fresh air, when suddenly she had the feeling that she wasn’t alone.

“Out of the corner of my eye, I saw something orange and moving right by my leg — at the same time, she saw me and raced out the door,” Thompson told The Dodo.

And that was the first time Thompson met Foxy.

Hailey Fries's birthday was probably her most special birthday. After a 5 year-long pursuit of permanent custody, Bridgitte Fries, finally got permanent custody over her daughter. On her birthday, Bridgitte revealed the life-changing news to Hailey by gifting her birth certificate, and asking her if she could read the backside. SCHOOL FACULTY SURPRISE CUSTODIAN WITH CAR SO HE NO LONGER HAS TO WALK TO WORK

Chris is the head custodian at Unity Grove Elementary School in Atlanta.
In a video posted to Facebook by the school, two people are seen leading Chris to a car and then put the keys in his hand.

"Today was one of those days that makes you smile for hours," a spokesperson for the school wrote on Facebook.

CAVE EXPLORERS SEE MOVEMENT IN 30-FOOT PIT, RESCUE DOG WHO WAS TRAPPED FOR WEEKS

The cavers were exploring Dewey Hickman Nature Preserve in Harrison County, Indiana, when they saw movement in the pit.

They looked down and saw a thin black-and-white dog at the bottom of a 30-foot drop.

The cavers rappelled down and were able to lift the dog out of the cave. The malnourished pup was then taken to Harrison County Animal Control, a shelter in Corydon.
