The other day, Gemma Colón stopped by a restaurant in New York City to grab a bite. But the visit ended up satisfying more than just her appetite.

“I was presented with one of the most unexpectedly heartwarming views,” Colón told The Dodo. “I noticed this dog seated across from his owner, perched up on a chair, acting like an absolute proper gentleman.”

The dog and his owner were apparently on a date.

A heartwarming video showing a blind guest being surprised by a Braille birthday message at a restaurant has gone viral on TikTok.

Natalie Te Paa, the woman featured in the video, told TODAY Food that the London restaurant, Luciano by Gino D’Acampo, did not have any advance notice that she was coming. She and her friend, Claire Sara, stopped into the restaurant after seeing a show together, and Sara informed restaurant employees that it was her birthday.

German Animal Shelter Posts Tinder Profiles For Lonely Animals, Hoping For A ‘purrfect Match’

A German animal shelter began using the Tinder dating app to post profiles of lonely dogs and cats looking for love.

Reuters reported that the Munich Animal Welfare Association hired an unnamed advertising agency to photograph a few of their adoptable animals and write some Tinder profiles to help find “the purrfect match.”
