Dog Rescues Baby Deer From Drowning In Virginia Lake

A 6-year-old Goldendoodle named Harley jumped into a lake outside his Virginia home to save a baby deer from drowning.

"Not sure how the fawn got out there but Harley obviously didn't ask why, he just jumped into action," said Ralph Dorn, 62, of Culpeper, Virginia.

Dorn said he was looking for Harley when he saw him about 200 feet from shore herding the little fawn back to the shoreline.

Seniors Are Now Texting Grandchildren As A Way To Bond, After Learning The Skill In Lockdown

According to a new poll, Americans over 65 have finally mastered the art of texting—and 33 percent of them now prefer texting to phone calls.

The survey also revealed that their favorite emoji was the heart, which tied with the happy face, with 43% using those the most. Other popular senior emoji favorites included the beer mug and assorted animals.

Crocodile Dad Carries Around Hundreds Of Babies To Keep Them Safe

Last year, wildlife photographer Dhritiman Mukherjee visited the National Chambal Gharial Wildlife Sanctuary in India hoping to catch a glimpse of a unique-looking crocodile.

The gharial has a long, thin snout perfect for catching fish and is critically endangered. This large crocodile used to be common in rivers and sandbanks across South Asia, but now there are believed to be fewer than 250 adults left in the wild.
