A video showing a little girl impersonating her mom working from home is striking chords with millions of parents and LinkedIn users.

Last week, Colleen Chulis of Charlottesville, Virginia, posted a clip of her daughter, Adelle, 8, pretending to juggle phone calls, Zoom meetings and motherhood. The video was seen more than 7 million times.

Dutch Citizens Are Using A “doorbell” To Help Fish Pass This Canal Gate

Every year, thousands of spawning fish swim through the canals of Utrecht in the Netherlands. When they reach the Weerdsluis lock though, they often cannot travel further because the barrier — which acts as a dam — is rarely open. A new initiative, however, is now allowing regular citizens to help the fish get through, using an online “fish doorbell.”

You heard that right, officially known as a visdeurbel, the system consists of an internet-connected underwater camera located next to the lock gate. Using an app, members of the public can view the camera’s recording in real-time where and whenever they want.

Meet The New Yorker Transforming Old Tree-pits From Trash Bins Into Stunning Flower Beds

New Yorker David Kass decided to beautify his neighborhood in Chelsea, Manhattan, by taking over empty tree beds and putting in plants. When he first moved to the area, he noticed the empty tree beds had become nothing more than garbage pits. This upset him and he kept thinking someone was going to do something about it. Eventually, David, who likes gardening, decided that as it seemed nobody was going to do anything, he was going to do something himself — and the results have been pretty transformative!

Woman Is Startled When She Passes A Floating Dog Head On The Street

Amanda Grace Hutter was out for a run around Cambridge, Massachusetts, when she spotted a dog seemingly performing a magic trick.

“I had just crossed the road when I heard a ‘Yelp!’” Hutter told The Dodo. “This dog stuck its head out of its fence, [and] a man running past recoiled in surprise.”

The floating dog head belonged to a fluffy Westie who wanted to check out what was happening on his block. Hutter snapped a few photos of the curious dog and went on her way since there was no sign indicating that the dog wanted to be pet.
