Fun Q&A With the Henné Team
Some of our Henné team's a little camera shy, so we've added a mascot pic for now. IRL photos coming soon!
Intrigue because I genuinely like the boldness of the color; I like to see that I'm wearing something on my lips.
If your life had a mascot, what would the mascot be and why?
A doberman because they’re energetic, always fun-loving, and loyal! I aspire to light up a room like a dog does.
What word or saying from the past do you think should come back?
“Like a duck on water” - I think people need to stop taking things so personally and just let things wash right over them and keep on going.
What are you the most grateful for?
Consistency. During times of uncertainty, you realize the constants in your life and remember to be grateful for them.
What part of a kid’s movie completely scarred you?
Bambi’s mom dying… every Disney mom dies but Bambi’s mom dying was the most traumatic.
Muse because it makes me feel fabulous without trying.
If your life had a mascot, what would the mascot be and why?
A monkey because they’re energetic and love to have fun, like me. I’m always busy and monkeys love to be doing something all the time.
What’s the silliest fear you have?
Feet because I don’t like the way they look or feel when you touch them. They’re always cold! No one’s allowed to touch my feet, except for my mom.
What are you the most grateful for?
Family because of their unconditional support. I feel free to be myself without any judgement from them.
If peanut butter wasn’t called peanut butter, what would it be called?
Chunky Nutty Spread because I like my peanut butter chunky.
Lip Serum because it feels fresh and glossy when I put it on. I like how it soaks in because you can’t always see it but I can feel it.
If your life had a mascot, what would the mascot be and why?
A butterfly because they change and grow and that’s something I strive for in my life.
What’s invisible but you wish people could see?
People’s sadness because it can be easy to hide. I want to know who people really are and what they’re truly feeling.
What are you the most grateful for?
The sun because I can count on it rising and brightening my day.
Is cereal soup? Why or why not?
Technically yes. It’s the same concept as soup; something solid mixed in a liquid.
Lip balm because I can use it for a lot of purposes.
If your life had a mascot, what would the mascot be and why?
A cat because I’m easily startled, quiet, and stealthy.
Toilet paper, over or under?
Over because that’s the way it should be.
What are you the most grateful for?
My relationship with my grandma because she's awesome and she always has my best interest in mind.
What’s an unspoken rule between everyone at work?
Don’t park in someone else's parking spot.
Lip Mask because I put it on every night before bed and it’s still magically there in the morning. It’s always working hard to make my lips soft.
If your life had a mascot, what would the mascot be and why?
A dolphin because they love to stay in big groups and I’m so social. I love to be around people all the time. I’m always up for a good time and putting smiles on people’s faces.
What two totally normal things become really weird if you do them back to back?
Getting dressed and then getting in the shower. You would save time on laundry, though.
What are you the most grateful for?
My health, my family’s health, everyday that I get to wake up, and every battle that I get to conquer.
Which body part do you wish you could detach and why?
Definitely my mouth! So I can stop talking when I really shouldn't be.
Lip balm because I’m prone to chapped lips, especially in the winter. I use it before bed and after brushing my teeth.
If your life had a mascot, what would the mascot be and why?
An eagle because I have always wanted to fly, ever since I was a kid. I love traveling and I think it’d be cool to see a bird’s view of nature.

My wonderful wife and seeing/keeping her happy.
If animals could talk, which would be the rudest?
Cats because they can be a bit snooty sometimes. That being said, I still love cats!
What’s your favorite dessert/pastry?
Semla. A really delicious Swedish pastry with a wheat bun, almond paste and whipped cream. It's not overly sweet which I like.
All of them. They’re my Henné babies! My actual specific fave varies depending on the day and my mood.
If your life had a mascot, what would the mascot be and why?
A lion. They’re majestic, strong, and it’s my zodiac sign. Plus they like to cuddle...at least according to YouTube and Animal Planet video clips.
What easy thing do you most often screw up?
It seems like when I drink coffee, missing my mouth and wearing it on my shirt is a frequent occurrence. Thankfully wearing black most of the time hides my accidents!
What are you the most grateful for?
Family and loved ones because they are what makes life wonderful. The older I get, the more I value leading a life that has more purpose and meaning.
If you had to become an inanimate object for a year, what object would you be?
An amethyst cluster because it helps ward off evil thoughts and provides benefits to others. It’s pretty to look at but also heavy and sturdy so less likely to get destroyed by someone clumsy (aka someone like me).
Kallie
