Granddaughter's voicemails for grandmother span 14 years in viral video

While missed calls and subsequent voicemails can oftentimes present themselves as missed opportunities, one Massachusetts granddaughter found a way to weave them together into a heartfelt video that has gone viral.

Pailey Baczek stitched together a collection of voicemails that she left her grandmother Joan Johnson, spanning 14 years from the age of 3 to the age of 17. Baczek posted the emotional collage of memories on TikTok late last year once she discovered them.

She wanted a space for her son, who has autism, to explore nature. So, she created a whimsical fairy forest.

If you walk around the Rahway Trail in the South Mountain Reservation of Millburn, New Jersey, you might spot more than leaves, trees and chipmunks. Fairies live among the foliage. Small whimsical cottages are hidden in the tree trunks and branches – a surprisingly sweet sight in an otherwise normal-looking forest.

The fairy homes were not built by mythical creatures, but by volunteers. The idea to add small dwellings to the landscape came from a woman named Therese Ojibway, who 10 years ago wanted her son, who has autism, to have a safe space to explore in the wilderness.

Bus driver buys pajamas for student sad about missing out on pajama day

When Jefferson County Public School bus driver Larry Farrish Jr. saw first-grader Levi Carrier, looking sad at the bus stop on Pajama Day morning, he knew something was off.

"Any normal day when I pull up to the bus stop, Levi like waves me in," Farrish said. "This day, he didn't wave me in. I noticed him sitting down on the ground by himself."

Farrish said he asked Levi what was wrong when the first-grader stepped on the bus.

Grateful Pup Can't Stop Smiling At Her Surprise Birthday Party

On the day of her adoption, Kona — a rescued pittie mix — made it her mission to fill her forever house with joy. As a puppy, she played constantly with her mom, Collyn, and anyone else who entered their home. Whether she chased after toys or cuddled up with her family for a quick nap, Kona always put a smile on everyone’s faces.

Over the next seven years, the sweet girl’s household changed a lot, but her mission of making everyone happy remained strong.
