How To Avoid the Summer Spoil
Aah...summer. While most of us can't wait for these blissful sunnier months ahead, this also means that soon it will be time to prep and protect your beauty and skincare products from the higher temperatures.
Here are some quick tips on how to help your beauty products survive the heat this summer.
Consider storing some of your skincare products (and even certain tools) in the fridge, such as face mists, creams, lotions, gua sha, jade rollers, etc. Be sure to check that they actually belong in the fridge though. For example, most of our Henné products (balms, tints, oils) should not be stored in the fridge, but our hand creams can be stored cold to extend the shelf life.
Don’t put your balm, tint or lipstick directly in your pocket. Your body heat + the additional outside heat can fairly quickly soften the stick and make it hard to use.

Inside the House
Keep your products away from windows and direct sunlight (whether that be in your bathroom or nightstand in bedroom).Consider storing some of your skincare products (and even certain tools) in the fridge, such as face mists, creams, lotions, gua sha, jade rollers, etc. Be sure to check that they actually belong in the fridge though. Car
Make sure to not leave any beauty products in the car during the day, even if it’s not sunny out. You know how hot your car can get in just a couple of hours...not a place well suited for your favorite lipstick.Mailbox
Check your mailbox more often, especially if you’re expecting beauty or skincare products. A hot mailbox can quickly turn your latest order into a hot, melted mess.Out and About
Use a cosmetic pouch/makeup bag inside your handbag. An extra layer helps keep the heat out. And keep your bag in the shade whenever possible.Don’t put your balm, tint or lipstick directly in your pocket.
